It's that time of the year again! Fall! I love all things about fall, except for the allergies and the shorter days! One of my most favorite things to do in the fall is to visit our local pumpkin patches.
My local MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers) spent a lovely fall morning at the pumpkin patch. Nathan is big enough to enjoy it this year, so I had lots of fun taking pictures of him. Or at least TRYING to take pictures! That is one busy toddler!
Nathan wasn't as impressed with the pumpkins as he was with the millions of rocks laying around. That boy LOVES rocks!
Nathan was very impressed with the tractors. He kept saying "Big vroom! Wow! Big!" He had a ball on the tractor ride. He didn't even try to jump off which was a big shocker to me since all I ever hear from him is "Down! Down!"
He also loves animals and was so happy to talk to and pat the animals. Here he is saying "Hi, hop! Hi!"
He kept feeding the goats rocks. I don't think the goats were interested. Maybe that's why one mean ornery goat head-butted the poor kid? "Bad doat!" says Nathan.
There also was a gigantic sandbox that all of the kids piled in to. I had to convince Nathan to join in which is odd since every day he comes home from daycare with his shoes FULL of sand from their sandbox. Funny kid! He would have rather talked to the animals all day. Perhaps I have a future veterinarian on my hands?
Nathan even helped me to select a free pumpkin to take home. Such a strong boy! And such a fun day at the pumpkin patch!
