Halloween has come and gone but if your house is like mine you still have plenty of candy to go around!
Nathan was a feisty tiger. He was thrilled to be a tiger, too! The minute he saw his costume he started ROARing and running around. Scary tiger!
After posing for the required pictures we set off to gather as much candy as we could from our neighbors! They never disappoint with all of the yummy goodies they have for us.
Nathan could not believe that all he had to do was stand there looking adorably and people would drop candy in his bucket! He spent most of his night peering inside the bucket in amazement at the growing pile of candy inside.
And Nathan spent the other part of the night excited about all of the rocks in our neighbors' yards. We still don't know which was more exciting to him- candy or big rocks!
We met up with some of the neighborhood kiddos and had to have our picture made with them. Where's Nathan? Still talking to the big rocks. Funny kid!
We let them eat a few pieces and then we headed off to one of our church's neighborhood Halloween parties.
Instead of doing a Trunk or Treat at the church or a community center our church started sponsoring neighborhood parties. They had games, bounce houses, cotton candy, hot dogs, and candy galore! We had so much fun playing and eating!
You can always tell how much fun it was based on the amount of candy you hauled home. We gathered almost a yard of candy! I think that means it was a fabulous Halloween!
